Ich denke es geht hier aber nicht um Navis, sondern um D-Audio (Radio).

Der Händler hat grundsätzlich Recht, was er nicht findet, kann er nicht laden. Er muss die Software bei Hyundai Deutschland Technik anfragen. Es handelt sich aber nur um ein Software-Patch, es ist kein Update, also hat es keinen weiteren Nutzen, wenn man nicht dieses Problem hat.

Wenn ich auf Engineering Mode-Diagnosis gehe dann habe ich das auf dem Bildschirm.

Ist das OK oder sind das Fehler?

Hello friends,

Yesterday I updated the Gen2V (D2V) software myself. It works perfect. You only have to download Gen2V software from Hyundai or Kia in any official page in the world. At least in this case, software includes all vehicle platforms, and for my i20 BC3 48V TECNO.

I got updated software and firmware from this Link. I downloaded selecting Gen2V and the third file (hybrid). I used exFAT format in the USB and engine on. It took less than 10 minutes.

Das geht von der bekannten Hyundai Seite auch, man muss nur "USA" auswählen

But in Hyundai site versions are older (October-November 2020), and in Kia site are 30-Nov-2021.

Might be, I didn't check the release dates. Kia is always a bit quicker than Hyundai, also in technical information (TSB...)

As I'm informed, Hyundai also plans to upload D-Audio software to this portal. So let's wait and see...

Your option is generally much better than mine, but since I had some problems with CarPlay and TomTom (no maps showed) and I discovered that update had a file with all vehicle platforms, I decided to try and was successful.

Previously I tried in Hyundai Europe web page but then I found that with the app, which is exactly the same for Kia and Hyundai, they only update for systems with navigation and maps. In i20 this is for 10” screen device with bluelink. They don’t alert you and you realise when you try to update and doesn’t work for 8” screen.

Every update has its risks, but if someone here has CarPlay or other D-audio problems, you know that I updated and it works fine.

Dear Vicente,

in general you're totally correct, the data for this head units are quiet similar. But if you catch the "wrong" regular update, the D2V head unit will "speak" red with you. That's the only difference. The supplier is always Mobis.

For issues like black screen, no map data, car play (AA and ACP) connection issues, the dealer can provide S/W patches.

I hope to get the D-Audio S/W also available in EU-site soon.

Ich bin im Begriff, mir einen neuen i20 zu kaufen, möchte allerdings Android Auto benutzen und das Wireless. D.h ich würde das Infotainment System ohne Navi nehmen. Hat jemand Erfahrung, wie Android Auto wireless läuft? Anscheinend gibt es ja mit Carplay viele Probleme, ist das mit Android Auto auch so?

Kann man das nicht Navi Infotainment System gar nicht updaten oder können das nur die Händler / Werkstätten machen?

Das ist ausstattungsabhängig und kann im Hyundai Konfigurator gut abgefragt werden.

So steht es in der Konfiguration (Serienausstattung) bei Hyundai, da ist es leider nicht ersichtlich ob es kabellos ist ( habe die Frage auch etwas falsch formuliert)?! Habe das Navi bestellt in der N-Line Ausführung.

Ahso wireless, glatt überlesen. Ob es genau deiner nun hat weiß ich nicht, vermutlich ja. Deine ursprüngliche Frage war aber ob alle i20 das haben, und da ist die Antwort definitiv nein, gibt ja Modelle die nur ein DAB Radio drin haben etc.

Mal auf der Website von Hyundai genauer hingeschaut, funktioniert wohl nur mit dem 8" NonNavi Radio. Also muss man sich halt entscheiden ob man 10,25" mit Navi oder 8" mit Wireless Funktion möchte.

Der Kater hat recht. Bei Navi gibt’s gar kein Wireless und am D-Audio (Radio) muss man richtig bestellen, da gibt es beide Varianten.

Das kannst du aber problemlos und recht günstig (ca. 90-100 €) nachrüsten. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Stichwort Carlinkit 3.0 Damit hättest du das "große" Navi und wireless. Bei mir seit Jahren im Einsatz.

Hallo, den Hinweis habe ich auch schon hier in einem anderen Bereich gefunden und habe mir das schon bestellt. Habe noch einen Opel Mokka X mit Apple CarPlay und versuche es dort mal 😃

Sehr gut. Ich habe noch den 2.0, bin aber sehr zufrieden. Das Ding ist fest und unsichtbar eingebaut und erfreut mich jeden Tag.
