Hello guys, sorry that I'm not using German, but my writing skills are rather low, but I understand German language. If someone don't understand it, just translate it in Google.

I cannot agree that this is normal behaviour, I had several, several cars with automatic gear boxes, my last are new Citroen C5 2.0 diesel and 2014 IX 35 2.0 with gasoline engine. In the past I had several cars with automatic gear boxes and none of them had such strange 1-2 second delay when pressing acceleration pedal. When I'm pressing the pedal harder even in my IX35 2.0 gasoline without turbo, it just shoots forward without any hesitation and the acceleration is enormous. The same was with every other car that I owned.

In our Polish Hyundai forum I found one guy that has the same problems with his IX 35 diesel wit AT gear box and for sure this is not normal. I didn't gave any solution here, but I can say that none of my cars even IX 35 with the same gear box, had the same issues.

As a hint I can say that Hyundai had a similar problem in US, they were adjusting gas pedal programming by service computer update and it resolved the issues there. It is something to think about :)
