The head unit runs on "WindowsCE Embedded" which is saved on ROM and cannot be deleted/damaged. Also, there are 4 drives in unit called "storage card 1-4" Video player according to instructions is copied on drive 4 along to NAVI maps. It is easy and safe and it can be deleted at any time.
