    We would like to update you with information regarding Sat Nav software updates and 7 digit postcode support.

    Traffic Messaging Channel
    Traffic Messaging Channel (TMC) gives updates through the factory fitted Sat Nav system warning of congestion along your planned route and offers an alternative course. For models that do not have this function enabled, a software update is available free of charge from your local Hyundai dealer who will install this for you. Please contact your local Hyundai dealer who can advise if your vehicle has this function enabled. Please note, if the software update is installed by someone other than an authorised Hyundai dealer, this is done entirely at the drivers own risk.

    New Software Update
    There is a new software update available for factory fitted Sat Nav systems - version 7.1.2. This includes an update to the Bluetooth. The update is currently being shipped to Hyundai dealers and will be available free of charge. We will post on Facebook when this update has been received by our dealers. As stated above, if the software update is installed by someone other than an authorised Hyundai dealer, this is done entirely at the drivers own risk. If you do not have TMC installed, this update will also install this functionality.

    7 Digit Postcode Support
    Some Hyundai models with factory fitted Sat Nav systems use a 5 digit postcode to find locations to plan a route. Navteq, our 3rd party map supplier has introduced 7 digit postcode support as part of their 2013 map upgrade. This functionality is ONLY available by purchasing the 2013 map upgrade from Navteq. We are working with Navteq to secure a special discount for existing Hyundai drivers which we will communicate in the coming weeks.
