(Typ GB) Which gearbox oil for the 1.0 T-GDI?

    Hello people,


    Sorry for speaking English.


    I have a question. I need the correct oil for the gearbox of a i20 with the 1.0-TGDI engine. Can someone please provide me the right oil information? And where to buy it. The Hyundai dealer does not want to provide it.


    I have tried 75w90 and 75w80 (both Api GL-4) oils, but with these oils the car shifts very badly.

    Thank you for your reply. I have checked the oil you supplied, but that is an API GL-5 oil. I also think an 80w140 oil is way too thick.


    According to the manual, this gearbox needs an "70W" oil. This is a strange kind, never heard of it of seen this oil before.

    i think the best are the Castrol Transaxle or the Castrol Multivehicle
